Louisville-area derby fans, your Derby City Roller Girls are now recruiting!

Calling all future rollergirls ages 21 and older, with valid health insurance. If you're interested in being part of a homegrown, kick-butt, hard-skating roller derby league in Louisville, KY, we want to meet you, whether you know how to skate or not. If you've got a sense of adventure and a lot of heart, come on out and meet us for a little Q&A and BBQ. All body types and skating levels are encouraged to participate.

The following is a press release about the Fabulous Sin City Rollergirls' upcoming first ever intraleague bout. What's that, you say? Since the beginning, the league has always been a single team league, and as far as I know, has always been the highest rated league of its size in the WFTDA. Fearlessly taking on leagues that sometimes have three or four times the teams and skaters.

OK derby fans, time to get to your favorite venue well in advance, find that perfect spot on the floor right in the turn and put those crash zone mouthguards back on because those girls with the fishnets, ruffled panties and those funny helmets with the stars on them are about to get hit and land right in your lap. No, it's not soft porn, it's time for another month of roller derby!
